Default Divine Spirit and Glyph of Renewal

I've just heard people mention it. I think I have the basic concept. Keep Divine Spirit up, and spam five energy skills. I don't know why this however would be better then running LoD for example. Sure, better energy management, but it seems the healing would suffer.

It can also be used in conjunction with prot skills like RoF, Guardian, Dismiss Cond, or even stuff like SB/PS. It's meant to be an alternative, not necessarily replace the LoD.

Until any half decent Mesmer Drains/Shatters, or otherwise interferes with what is a very fragile bar.

Divine Spirit only really shines when used along side Deny Hexes in which case the e' management is a by product

enchantment removal/interruption is NEVER a counter to a PvE build. there are only a few areas in the game with enchantment removal.

I tried to run renewall/divine spirit build.

It is very fragile as already said, you have 2.75 seconds of downtime when you are refreshing spirit, which can be fatal.

Besides, crazy spamming of your skills on recharge is not really going to help, you need correct tools for your job. That means free elite slot for monk elite of choice.

Spamming single target 5e healing prayers, even if you do it forever, will still have people dying. A good monk needs skills like prot spirit, LoD, and shield of absorption which aren't meant to be spammed but used at the right time.

Divine spirit monks are generally the prot monks in addition to the LoD. It's generally more fragile than your standard RC or SoD, but in some team builds it can be more effective.

Especially when you set your Glyph of Renewal to 4 and Divine Spirit to 5, then have a Macro activate one after the other automatically everytime they come up lol. It takes all the human error out of the process.

I experiemented alot with this concept and others and found some interesting results.

I found using it fun

You mess up pressing 2 buttons in a row? Wow, now I know why people think they're skilled when they can hit 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 on sins...
